How to fix roof shingles

Continue loosening the adhesive and nails closer to the damaged shingles. Slip a flat pry bar under the damaged shingle and press down to pop out the roofing nails. Loosen and remove the damaged shingles. Slide the new shingle up into place.

We had a wind storm recently blow off one shingle and damage shingles on our garage. We had to replace them, and all the roofing companies said to do it .
